RE:Rear Wheel Cylinders
Alvin,
As to the wheel cylinders Rod of Rod's Datsun Parts has them reasonably priced and he lives in San Jose. No shipping-just go to the Flea Market and pick 'em up.

Brakes ect
Alvin,
Rod should have them. Porterfield makes pads for the front, but I think they will reshoe the cores for the back as well. When are you going to get that thing out of the garage and back on the road? The porterfield pads are awesome on the front. Your car will STOP.
Good luck and have fun,
Will

Sorry, I find modern engine swaps revolting. Keep your G, R, or U series in your Roadster!

oops
meant to say: DON'T use brakes... brain fad... The cam removal has been easy so far..thanks to Sid. The trouble I have now is getting the water filling housing off the head.. tried PB Blaster, rubber mallet... guess I'll try and get the studs out next. Things will move slowly till after the holidays.. then I'll kick it back into gear.

Matt,
Glad to hear that the cam came out easily enough with the notes I posted for you. I am surprised that I did not leave out any major details - the last R16 rebuild was back in the 80's....
Have you tried heating the housing to see if that persuades the rust to break free? They can be a PITA to remove.
