Just swap out the center caps for some Datsun/Work caps and you can be like Big Vic!!!
We need a wheel section!!

Those are pretty cool. Vic is the cool wheel king. We can only wish to have a selection like he does. Some day my Hayashis will look almost as good as his.
Speaking of Works wheels on a roadster, does anyone have that picture of the red roadster with the works 4 spokes. I searched all over the site for the thing and couldn't find it.

Thats the one. I must have spent a good 2 hours looking though posts on here. I really wonder if that car was actually built. I know the picture is from the Works wheels catalog/website from a few years back.

thanks,
Will

 I was thinking about your wheels when I saw these, as Jerry from Seinfeld would say..."That's a shame"

No worries you are the JDM wheel king for now since you've captured the essence of JDM fitment...no one can duplicate your setup! Anyone can find a set of JDM wheels but a staggered/dished fitment is crazy!

Back to the wheels:
The key here is to buy these and get a generic center cap with a work logo/decal...full JDM cache without the JDM price. Only the owner will know that it's a knock-off, or that they paid 5x for the real thing

Dn't feel bad. Remeber - a cheap, knock-off of an expensive, rare wheel is still just a cheap wheel. Better to have the real thing in my view. You've got that covered. N one is ever going to mistake your set for chinese BS copies.

Plus that, you can dive into a corner and be pretty dam sure the left front isn't going to snap off from the spokes. Those copies are single piece casted with bolts to make them look like a three piece. And they're heavier. I'd rather wear stock steelies than cheap crap any day.

That's where you're wrong, Vic. Yes, to you and I a knock-off is easy to tell. We are JDM junkies. But to most roadster folks or the general public who aren't JDM-savvy...it IS the real thing, especially if the it says so on the center cap!

But I'm with you on quality, rarity, and peace of mind. I'ev always wanted some real Watts for a roadster.

69er I have not seen them in person, from the pic they don't have much of a lip on them.

oh wells i guess i can bank on the center caps being super hard to get then huh! :D

Your right alvin the wheels dont really have the same lip....theres looks like a reverse type single lip, where as mine is a stepped lip.

Well, I cannot take credit for it as exit64 is the man that came up with the idea. Your panasport write-up? Hmm, not sure about that. Was it in an old thread? If is was it is gone. Can you resend it? I still have quite a few threads to move in here. I got side tracked tonight when I was working on it earlier.
