Post by S Allen »

Bryan Martin-Daniels son provided these pictures of his Dad's newly restored 67.5 stroked roadster done by Les Cannaday. Pretty sweet looking car.

Wow...That is really nice...I like the use of the 66 gauges in the 67.5 car. Makes its look really nice.

Maybe its time for me to start on another roadster project?

I have seen this car in person, and it is really something...the Dash in particular is very interesting. It was painted to look like a wood dash and is very unique.

I know Les had the top done in a custom color and really looks great.

Very nice. Is that gear shift knob custom or aftermarket? And is that one of the rare EMPI steering wheels?

The top looks like one that can be had from Robbins for about $225. Very cool car.

the steering wheel doesn't look like an Empi more like a Personal.

Actually, those instruments are the 67.5 gauges that someone has taken the time to chrome plate the bezels. (You can tell by the two dual gauges) The chrome looks excellent against the wood grain and the way he has carried it through the center console and shifter completes that whole combo very nicely. Couldn't have been easy but sure it came out great!
