Here is something that I did that may be of use, feel free to use or hit DELETE!
I was doing trans mounts at am time as engine pull, so I found myself climbing in under, then finding I didn't have right size wrench, so climbing back out, then back, over and over.
I printed out the engine pull step by step from the TechWIKI and Taped it to the windshield (or padding if going to pad the glass) with a pen on a string.
Then, as each step is completed, write down the wrench/socket size used for each.
It will save you about 50-60 sit-ups on the re-install! ( especially important to me, because I jacked up the car so many times that the car "crept" sideways each time, so now the driver side is closer to my wall cabinets than than the width of my hips! )

Different part number, 4spd Roadster 32132-14601 superseded 32132-B3000, early 4spd 240Z 32132-78000. Although it wouldn't be the first time Datsun changed the P/N for a different application for the exact same part?C.Costine wrote: Sun Apr 20, 2025 7:20 pmThe bushing is available "Datsunparts is life" somewhere in the midwest. I think the internal bronze bushing must be the source of my tail shaft leak after trying 4 or 5 seals (the driveshaft yoke is smooth and fine), and found a good one on ebay to swap. The bronze bushings are NLA and having one custom machined would cost more if I could even find a place to do it.

Re: Give me last minute engine pull tips
the ebay seller was able to find the bush and sold me one.
I am still not sure if I will replace or not. I will see how mine looks. I pulled the engine today. Hardest part was doing the hood myself. Load leveler helped a ton.

Re: Give me last minute engine pull tips

looks like that o ring is a pretty significant part of my transmission leak.
Lou Mondello recommended 32858-U6700 as a more modern option to replace it.
