LFX in my 67 1600

Post by Boomer »

I have a 67 1600 and a wrecked 2013 ATS Caddy. Why not I said! Caddy is direct injected 321 HP with 6 speed paddle shifted automatic with Getrag 3.42 posi diff. Its wiring and computer has been made stand alone. So how do I hang the Getrag in the roadster you ask? Well I acquired a Miata rear cradle and narrowed it to fit between roadster frame rails and hung diff from it. Added Silver mine 4 piston Wilwood big brake kit to front. Will do upgraded Miata rear discs later. My nephew CAD ( solid works) the upper control arms and added QA1 coil-overs. Like the Mustang GTD -my shocks will show in package tray of Datsun. He’s doing solid works to put QA1 in the front also. I’m old but I’m slow too. Hope you like my build.

Correction: Not like the Mustang GTD. Like Wade and Connor's Datsun Roadsters! :D

Beautiful set up Alvin but mine doesn’t waste weight having cantilever parts. My coil-overs are direct acting off A arm. 1to1 ratio-

Who is Conner? I was wondering what brand his coil overs he’s using? Please reply - thanks

Very cool! Coil overs retrofitted on a Roadster. That doesn't happen every day!
