Pictures Showing up Rotated in Posts

I have had success in fixing attachment pictures that show up rotated in the post but correct when you click on them.

Before you upload the attached picture, open it on your computer and rotate it 90 degrees. Close the viewer program. Reopen the rotated picture and correct its rotation to normal and close.

Now upload the picture as an attachment to your post. Preview the post and you should find the picture displays correctly.

I've had this work on Windows 7 and 10 computers, haven't tried Mac.
