picture of soft top covered
Can someone share pictures of how the soft top boot/cover looks covering the top and clipped? I'm trying to figure out if I can put speakers in one of these sets of holes without being covered.

Re: picture of soft top covered
Not exactly a photo of what you are asking for as the top is up on my current roadster, although the location of speakers in my first '68 roadster were where the white disc shows in the photo attached. I removed the interior panel, cut the hole, installed the speaker, ran wires, popped the panel back in. The boot wrapping and snapped down over the top was tightly curved under the folded top and twistied to the back panel so the speakers were not obstructed. It was a great sound with top up or down. The white disc you see in the photo is 7" diameter although the speakers I installed in that roadster were probably 6" diameter. It was 1970 and 8 track cassettes were the latest technology. I removed part of the back wall of the glove box, installed a small player, and could play the cassette with the glove box closed, and hiding it when I was not with the car. The black speaker covers matched the black interior of the car therefore hiding in plain sight the speakers.
