Hey Dan, great to have followed along on your adventure... cheers to your success! I had my own challenges this summer but finally got things sorted out as well. My final season run was a full drive around Mt. Rainier... 6hrs of mountain passes, volcanic rock walls, rushing rivers and pines with virtually no traffic. My car is hibernating now, but we have been known to do some polar bear runs on sunny days, in full "bundled up" mode of course. Tends to get a bit colder over on your side of the mountains... I know!
Be well, and again congrats!

I plan to make a road trip up to your area next year to meet some of our local Roadster owners. I’ll try to look you up. Pat

Hi Greg, I still do not have a windshield, so driving in the cold is interesting. Weather has been mild since the west side storm has blown through. Highs have been in the low 30's for a week. I have some good goggles, driving mittens and today would have been a good day to drive in "bundled up mode". The heater works great! I am planing on taking longer and longer drives next year. I am building up confidence in the car.
Next spring I will be fixing a few things,
Get a windshield.
Rebuild the valve that closes off the heater. It is getting sticky.
New exhaust system in the spring.
Adjust brakes, car is now pulling to the left.
Still need to replace the suspension rubber parts.
I would like to get a new clutch. The one that came with the car was marked 1981.

dynaguy, I did meet another roadster owner last summer. I remember it is a '66.
Overall I have had very good comments on the car. One person I met actually knew what it is. Two people asked if was an MG. I do need a "no MG sticker".

Send a PM to S Allen the forum administrator. He has these stickers available and can hook you up!
