This incredible Fairlady isn’t your typical Datsun restoration. It was built by Connor McElvain, who you probably have never heard of, and he went to great lengths to make sure this classic Japanese sports car could portray his vision for the project. He created a custom chassis entirely from scratch, incorporating push-rod suspension, custom four-link components, and CNC-machined details. What’s even crazier is that he completed most of the work in just three months after the sandblasting stage.
He placed 4th in a Builder's Challenge field of 40 and won his 'Young Guns' category
