Any pearl painted 311s

A pearl paint job looks great on a body with rolling curves ,I'm talking of the liter color showing thru on higher spots on the body ,I've seen some on 240z s and loved it

Yes, I had a 69 that I painted white pearl. I don't remember the paint code but I think it was used on Infinity cars. Here are some pix:

Nice wheels look good with it
I'm really talking the dual color ,top coat barely sprayed over some of the protruding body curves , so the under color come thru
I think they referred to it as:
heavy pearl or accentuated pearl
A gold or orange is 1st sprayed on the curved places then the other color coat is thin over these spots which let's the 1st color show litely

My base is Pearl White, and I agree Don, it does help accentuate the curves …

I'll be doing a dark blue pearl on mine in a few weeks (weather permitting) and I'll try to remember to update this thread with photos
