Caliper assembly mounting
My car has a thin spacer which goes on each of the two bolts that mounts the assembly to the hub. The spacers go between the caliper assembly and the hub. I don't see this part listed in the assembly drawings or in the wiki. The spacers are 0.033" thick. Is it supposed to be there? Also, what is the bolt torque spec? Thanks

Yes that pia washer! I usually weld that on as tight as I can with a breaker bar but think it’s about 86 ft lbs. Think it’s a 17 mm socket

AFAIK the washer is to center the caliper over the rotor.

When you drop the spacer/washer but don't see where it went, nor did you hear it hit anything, and you are losing your mind because you can't find it - get a beer and regroup; you will find it hiding between the rotor and the backing plate.
