Again, Nissan only began using the "U" designation for Can/US cars beginning Oct '67 and for the '68 model year "with emission controls and safety devices." May be important for someone ordering distributor springs, pulleys, etc. Attaced is the page from the Nissan parts manual explaining the symbols.

So as I wrote. Ross Mullen said Canada didn't have the emissions on their cars.

Was used before that. From the 1500 parts catalog. I thought my 310 had splu310 on the ID tag.
