Got my girl running

Post by Joshua »

Thank you all in the past few days. Been working hard at it for a while now and finally got her to fire up. Idles great, just discovered that my trans mount is worn (at least that's my theory) based on the shaking of the whole car. The project has just now truly begun. Be prepared for my questions about brakes, suspension, and steering.

Congratulations, so inquiring minds want to know what was the cause of the no spark?

Get the final carb tune done before changing the motor mount. Out of balance carbs can cause quite a shake. Bad motor mount on the carb side will cause the air cleaner cover to be hard to get on and off.
