Late model floor vent rubber,
How do I replace the rubber around these floor vents? I can't find any screws on the plate for access to remove the plate.
There are two small protrusions (circled in yellow), but no visible screw heads. Do I need to remove the plate to install the rubber seal, or should I cut the rubber seal, slide it on, and glue it in place? Or am I supposed to slide it on without removing the valve plate?
I'm lost. Any help would be appreciated. Dean has some instructions on the site and even then it is unclear to me.

Re: Late model floor vent rubber
As I recall on my 67.5, to remove the whole door from the body, one end of the shaft sits in a slotted hole. You bend the sheet metal out far enough to release the shaft, then pull it all the way out, then replace the rubber without disassembling the flap.

Ahhh!
Pat you are CORRECT!
I first thought, I said to myself "No way. There is no way to open up the vent hole shroud."
But you've been right on a quite a few things so I had to go back and check again.
I see it now. On the back side of the vent, you can open up where the axis pivots from. Not super easy and I was uncomfortable doing it.
