Flat dash glove box door - chrome button bezel removal?
Is there a way to remove this chrome in preparation for painting?

Yes, there is a U-shaped clip that slides in around the piece that slides in against the door metal. You may be able to slide it out with a scribe or screwdriver through the rectangular opening. If I remember correctly, it slides up towards the top of the door.
