Soft top installation
I am trying to improve the fit and seal of my vinyl top. I removed the seal, screws, plate, and vinyl from the bow. I am using body filler to smooth the bow as it had been previously weld repaired. When installing the vinyl, should an adhesive be used to glue the vinyl to the bow? The wiki (restoration) only mentions gluing the seal, not the vinyl. Thanks

Re: Soft top installation
Yes, I would recommend gluing the vinyl to the bow. From memory I did that on my '65.
Nissanman, just trying to help.

Re: Soft top installation
I agree with gluing the vinyl on. I posted a link a while back for the soft top prep and installation.

That's a good video tutorial, Kai! My buddy's uncle recently retired will start his Roadster project after mounting the new suspension and tires from 4Wheelonline onto his Wrangler TJ. Gonna pass that vid to him.
