That was very cool. Anyone notice that the day Alvin was there, they were running the track in reverse? (cars are climbing the corkscrew!)
Plus, "Climb the Corkscrew" makes a much better t-shirt phrase of the week than my previous comment, "Love Them Skid Marks".

Alvin is parked over turns 5 & 6 going uphill to the corkscrew, the cars below him are doing the uphill climb to the top like in my third and 4th pics above. The corkscrew is a very abrupt turn and drop. Don't think they run the track backwards, but could be wrong.

Ferg, in the photo with my roadster that is Turn6, uphill heading to the Corkscrew, it's hard to gauge perspective from the photo. Here's a video to go along with that still photo: https://youtu.be/tWO7hKCC6ts?si=LYzAPh10DvSkyUH8

Rob is correct. Some exhibition laps are done in reverse for show, but I've never seen a vintage race group run that direction.
I'm not quite sure if this makes you smile or not. But it is car stuff. And it is (sort of) a Roadster. I've seen this car online before but got a close-up look today at the SVRA races at Sebring. There were a bunch of 510's on the track, but no other Roadsters. Earlier in the week there was one Roadster on the entrant's list but they must have dropped out.

Yes! That is Anthony's '69 SRL. Basically a C6 Corvette with Roadster panels
