Awesome build thread. Do you happen to have any photos of how you did the trans mount? I'm really debating the swap, but was thinking of using the RX8 trans instead of the NA/NB miata trans.

For the trans mount, I made a plate that bolted to the tail shaft mount on the trans. Then drilled 2 holes up through the x member to line up with the holes in the plate. I used urethane suspension bushings between the x member and plate (with the bolt going through them) to insulate and raise the trans up off of the x member by 1/4 inch.
