Crap!!! I crossed the road last week and didn’t use the designated cross walk….please don’t call SWAT. .. my point is that authorities have far bigger fish to catch than roadster loving “ felons”.david premo wrote: Tue Sep 12, 2023 11:23 pm Redroadster, are you an undercover special agent, you are always bringing up the law engine conversions, instrumentation repairs and smog laws. I think you just might be a deep cover plant here in 311s.org. This might be it for me I could be in big trouble talking the way I do. Are you stasi police?
Dave
And just to clarify ….I’m Redroadster68… from Canada, where we welcome all speedometers, 100
Kph right up to 300 kph, working, not working, accurate, inaccurate….welcome…welcome all.

Don't you need a 4 yr auto motive college degree to obtain/buy , install auto parts in
Can nada
So I think you could handle the no touch speedo , the reason being scores of people payed alot to get a low mile car only to find out it wasn't

Re: what about a wonky speedo?
oh my... missed the conversations on this thread since my last post... didn't mean to cause such a kerfuffle.
got my speedo back in good working order and installed it myself. it reads 4-5 mph faster than what google maps says i'm doing, but hard to know how accurate google is. i suspect my tire size has something to do with what i would call a normal range of speedo error common to the vehicles of this vintage.
