There may be a few folks on the list who have used headers that have been swapped out to newer or "improved" versions that might fit the bill as well... ask around? I had no luck welding up my stock manifold...mine always re-cracked, likely due to what Dave said.

I have a solid nos intake manifold along w SUs from a recently running car as well as a second set up in a box. Not sure what it’s missing there but I’m wiling to look. Both have air cleaners. I have two exhaust manifolds too. Saving one for my car.
Pm me if you’re interested.

Those are some pretty crusty manifolds! We have both intake manifolds and headers at great prices. SU, Solex and Weber. Give us a shout or pm

Jt, I looked through your site and didn't see any exhaust headers. Maybe I just overlooked them? And for intake manifolds the only thing I saw was the reproduction solex version, and thank god I don't need that thing. Yall are asking more for it than I paid for the car!
The intake, I am more than sure I can get cleaned up once I get back in the shop and finish removing the water nipples. But if you guys offer a header for a reasonable price, I'd definitely be interested.

Sure, shoot us a message/email. Yes the Solexes are expensive, we have new and used manifolds, also a used SU manifold if yours is too much work and all the water fittings. I'll check the collection, yep, we have the headers in stock, typically a few choices.

Finally got the freeze plugs and water nipple fittings out and hit the surfaces with a little sand blasting to check for cracks.

Still a lot of work to do on the intake to get it back to 100%, but it's a big improvement I think. Any suggestions on what I could flush through the intake or soak it in to remove all the buildup inside?
But alas, today I head back to work for 28 days. Not such a bad thing as it'll give time for parts to be ordered and arrive.

I would try CLR for removing the build up
