Some old threads I found indicate that MSD wires need to be custom cut. Back in the day Ross up in Canada (Sports Imports) was doing that for a premium. Maybe he still does? One 311s member mentioned he bought a V8 kit and it was long enough to make two Roadster sets. No mention what V8 kit he bought.

eBay has plenty of listings for 6ft of bulk wire for $37 (black or red) You need about 5.5 feet including the coil wire. Add boots and connectors. Also Auto Zone $30 for black.

For the U20, I sourced Magnecor 10mm spark and distributor wires. They arrived exactly the right lengths.

I've made wires for my car (Jacobs) and it's not hard, you just need to follow their procedure to cut and crimp correctly. I too now have a set of Magnacore I got from Daryl and they are the right length, but I don't know if he did them or they did.

In my experience, Magnecore builds to application. YMMV.

Hi , Is there any pre made wire sets that are good at 8mm or 8.5mm? Are Pertronix decent?
