2023 SHEDD DATSUN ROADSTER BBQ. 16th Annual. Aug 17-19.
Another year for the BEST and second biggest roadster gathering after Solvang.
Not a meet or a show but a gathering of 40-50 roadsters and owners
No classes, no awards, no fees. Just a great time with your roadster friends.
Hosted as ever by founder Bill Neal and family.
Plan to be there Thursday for the Thursday evening dinner and the full Friday activities.
Thursday. August 17.
Afternoon Meet and Greet.
Plenty of room for RV and Tent camping. Bring your own toiletries. Shower in the shop.
Set up your camp site in the indicated area.
6 pm. social hour with dinner, snacks and dessert provided by NWDE and the Seattle area roadster drivers. BYBO.

Friday August 18.
10:30 am departure for the tour of Linn Gear in Lebanon Or.
Linn Gear manufactures stock and custom sprockets, gears
and other mechanical power transmission components for industrial applications.
1 pm. Lunch after the tour.
3 pm. Spirited return drive after Lunch.
5 pm. Set up tables and chairs for the Saturday BBQ.
6 pm. Dinner by Datsun Chef, Don Anderson. Pulled pork, sides and dessert. BYOB.

Saturday August 19.
10:30 am departure for the Shedd Roadster BBQ Drive.
30-40 roadsters on the road is a wonderful experience.
The drive will be to the Mennonite "Bakers" for the usual fantastic cinnamon rolls,
and with a stop to tour the Historic Thompson Mill on the return to the Neal farm.
Silent auction all day by Bill Cole. Bring roadster parts to donate and $ for your auction bids.
ALL auction sales support the SHEDD Roadster BBQ
2 pm. Pizza from the wood fired pizza food cart. BYOB.
3 pm. Silent auction ends.
6 pm. Break down the tables and chairs and return them to the trailer.

looks like a great, fun 3 day event ! A bit far from Colorado Springs, unless one had a toy hauler LOL.If there's any caps left? I Would be willing to purchase plus shipping for Nostalgia sake. There's not much if any Roadster events here in Colorado that I'm aware of. Have a great time to all who attends!

I'll try, but two barriers exist for me... an engine in parts at the moment (broken wrist pin, parts coming, then machine work, re-ring and assembly) and switching some work days (I only work 2 10hr shifts, but always Friday and Saturday making car shows harder to attend, and a lot of people are on vacation). Would love to see my old local and Canadian friends and put new faces to the posts we have all exchanged... we'll see!
