Good Day,
I am replacing the shocks. I pulled the front and rear to find the part numbers. I believe these to be the original from '64 or replaced sometime around 1980.
Front stamped - Nissan 56110 04200 RL1 Kayaba (KYB)
Rear stamped - Nissan 56210 04200 RL1 Kayaba (KYB)
I have read through the tech wiki section for part numbers and went to NAPA to find the KYB 343138 front shock. NAPA did not have the KYB and the NAPA replacement (5829) was a bit shorter and a bit bigger in diameter to fit up through the lower A arm. Orig. is 40mm dia, replacement is 45mm dia.
Most of the information in tech wiki is for '65 and up.
Does anyone have further information for replacement '64 shocks?
