69 headlights

Post by shifty »

The headlights on my car have been stuck on high-beam. I thought it was the switch, but it checks out OK.

The headlight relay on a '69 should fail in the high-beam position, correct?

I can't feel any "clicking" in the relay when I toggle the hi/lo switch (and the lights stay on high).

Anyone know of a relay that will interchange?

Thanks!

Ahhh yes; I just fixed that issue. Pull your relay from under the hood, my guess is that 2 of the wires broke and just need to be redone. Thats what I did with mine.

Sorry, I find modern engine swaps revolting. Keep your G, R, or U series in your Roadster!

You nailed it Will!

I'm glad it was something obvious and simple.
