Datsun Roadster Horizontal Door Felt

Hi All,

Looking for some help. I need to replace the Horizontal Door Felt on my 68 2000 Roadster. I have the original metal pieces with the tabs on the back to hold it in place but the felt is completely gone.

Can I buy the correct thickness felt and just glue it on? Hoping someone has a resource where I can purchase some new felt.

I know vendors offer replacement pieces but I'm hoping to get it replaced economically if possible,
