Factory Hardtop identification

Post by Loy »

Hey all,

Just picked up this hardtop for my tall 70 1600. Had to drive to the middle of PA to pick it up.

It appears to be factory style. Any ways to positively identify?
Internal latches are factory latches.

Not a factory hardtop
Notice the curved rear window and lower roof line

Looks like a snug top aftermarket one, if there is a manufacturer plate, it’s usually inside corner, driver side.
I remember when no one wanted the 1500s......
