Hello,
Does anyone know of a reputable shop in the West Los Angeles or Southbay area that can align our Roadsters?
Thanks,
Joseph

There's an old school shop in South OC but it that may be too far. LMK if you want the name.

The Bear Alignment shop in Hawthorn / Gardena (Gardena Bear) was known to have a young tech (named Teddy maybe, from memory a long time ago)
where lots of autocross / track day folks used to go to get a real aggressive / custom alignment specs put in.
Address: 13120 Crenshaw Blvd, Gardena, CA 90249
Any new-fangled place will just say "our computer only goes back to 1984" or something like that.
Gordon Glasgow's specs for alignment (in the Wiki?) work great for our cars.
Funny, but if Teddy was in his 20's when I heard about him, he is now approaching 40 !!!! YIKES!

Re: West LA/Southbay Alignment Shops
I did alignment at Datsun 76 up 87
did so many 620,720s , maybe 25 to 30 311s in that time most all were still in the original setting Camber and caster wise which was
Camber L : 0 to .5 degree pos
R : 0 TO .3 Neg
Caster .5 to .75 pos bit more on R side
If it has the 1/8 washer ( not shim ) in rear
and a thin or no shim that's what I always found , this is a the best alignment , you do not want to try more caster because you lose the right Camber plus it is hard on the back bolt as your only sentching one side of the washer or shim , 3/32 or 1/8 toe in
Note I found it difficult to sometimes get an accurate reading on the Litealign machine because the turntables needed a heavier car to be free
