67.5 front bow covering

Post by Habitat.pat »

I’m practicing for Alzheimer’s & can’t remember if there was a vinyl covering on the inside of my front bow when I stripped it several years ago. I had it powder coated & could just leave it like that but I also have a piece of vinyl to cover it with also. Was there vinyl on it to start with? If so, is there any compelling reason to put it back on?

Thanks in advance.

Peace, Pat

Yes, there was vinyl covering the bow on early low windshields. I didn't realize it until I saw a couple photos on Facebook that showed it. I do not think the 311 Car Parts Manual shows it. I guess it was just considered part of the Bow and not a separate P/N. Here is one from Facebook Roadster.
