Well, it looks like they got part way there with the hood scoop, and thr rear fender, but that front end is just not working for me. As has been mentioned in the other thread about this render, it's just another generic Camaro style, overdone design. The beauty of the Datsun was its simplicity complimented by some very nice styling cues. I think they missed the mark on this one.
Ive seen normal. It aint pretty.

I think it would definitely need to incorporate our unique round tail lights, and the subtle fins we all appreciate on our cars. Yes simple is better. The fact that someone was even thinking about a modern rendering is pretty cool. Makes us all imagine

Killed some time doing some minor photo editing on the car just for fun. Knocked some of the Camaro off and the overdone body styling cues. Looks a little better to me but still very generic. If I saw it on the road, I wouldn't immediately think Datsun Roadster.
