69 1600 Fan Clutch part identification
I’m not sure what I’m looking at, parts for the fan clutch? Do I need to keep any of these parts? I installed just the water pump pulley and the crank pulley lines up fine without any of those parts. I have an electric fan so I don’t need this one. Anyone need these parts?

Thermal modulator for fan clutch. If you are using a thermostatically controlled electric fan, you won’t need it or the engine-driven fan.

Re: 69 1600 Fan Clutch part identification
Thank you, that makes sense. The way it was configured on my car removed the clutch so the fan was always turning. I found those parts in a bag in the trunk. Lots more bags of parts to identify. Thanks again.

They have a high failure rate in service, locking up the fan, and are often tossed in the trash.

I did meet one person who actually kept it working on his car so there may be someone who wants it.

Thanks Keith,
I'll keep it in a bag for meetups, never know who may need it.
