COLDBLU 66SPL311 restoration number two
Hello all,
Finally getting started on restoring my car for the second time. The first was about 30 years ago before I had even seen another roadster. That was done in time for the 9th Mt. Shasta event. Surprisingly I have learned a bit about these cars since. This was my daily driver for years before I retired. It has suffered a bit since and has won Diamond in the Rough two or three times. I will attempt to chronicle progress as I go along. First picture is before starting and second after the first day. I plan to clean, repair, replate, repaint bits as I go along.
Thanks to Robert for helping out,
Keith Williams

I assume there is a way to remove the harness. Does anyone know if all that spaghetti actually fits through the holes on the left side leading into the engine compartment? I quite likely will end up installing molex plugs at the bulkhead. That way the wiring can be installed behind the dash on the bench before it is installed.

Yes, you can pull the "Spaghetti" through the hole in the bulkhead. It does require disconnecting a few things along the way, but it can be done. Ask me how I know.keith0alan wrote: Wed Feb 08, 2023 8:08 pm I assume there is a way to remove the harness. Re: COLDBLU 66SPL311 restoration number two
There are multiple plugs on the engine side you will disconnect and then you will fish the dash side of the plug through the hole so you can remove the dash harness from the car. I wish I was there to help you!!! It is a tight fit for the plugs but they will fit through.keith0alan wrote: Wed Feb 08, 2023 8:08 pm I assume there is a way to remove the harness.
