Pushed the bumper in, bent the bumper brackets that pulled the bumper inwards. Bumper hit the body and pushed it in, bent the trunk floor in slightly as well.

Those type of rear end collisions can have unpredictable hidden damage, perhaps even to a transmission output/ pinion seal or maybe even an output bushing. That might result in oil leaking onto a rotating driveshaft which then messes up an otherwise clean undercarriage. The other guys insurance accepted liability so its just finding a good shop now.
