93mm alternator on LEFT side for 1600
I don't know how to upload a picture. But I was able to get the 93mm on the left hand side using the same brackets. It requires you to shave the BOTTOM mount 1/2 inch, and then finding a spacer for the top bracket. I used a few washers, but I'd assume it's also about 1/2 inch as well. Then follow the wiring in the tech spot. I was even able to use the current belt, and the pulley that came with the alternator

We have built alternator kits for the left side too, but they come with a new upper bracket with the correct offset, so no spacer or washers needed. Most people prefer the alternator on the RIGHT side though for lots of reasons.

Yes, alternators on the right side then don't get cooked by the exhaust, easier access, closer to battery and the main wiring harness input.
With later model cars, once the air pump is removed there is plenty of room on that side.
Not sure the 93mm measurement, but lots (myself included) did the 55-amp GM "one wire" internally regulated alternator and haven't looked back.
It is a bit oversized for our engine bay, (I think some went with the 280Z alt for this reason) but parts are plentiful.
