“Show Spoiler/ Hide Spoiler” on posts?

Curious - This is new. Can someone explain what these pop-ups now appearing on some of my posts are? -see pics-
They don’t seem to really do anything when you click on them

There's a button on the full editor to create a spoiler section in your post. Looks like in the case of the example above, the poster didn't include any text between the "spoil" tags.
