A clarification on this , you dont need a separate controler as all gauge kits and the handheld from Innovate have an internal controller to read the information from the sensorDaryl Smith wrote: Thu Oct 27, 2022 10:29 pm You need the controller for the wideband, and you'll get a better deal buying them together as a package.
There are other controllers, some others recommended in different threads here.
A separate controller is needed if you decide to go with an aftermarket gauge like a Speedhut etc. they do not have internal controllers and are compatible with both Innovate and AEM

i use this wireless wideband o2 sensor. it has been really invaluable. being able to use your cellphone is amazing. i can monitor my AFR while working in the engine bay or while driving without wires to deal with. you can log as well too

cool idea but might be too much wireless connection if you already have 123 and other BT devicesMochi wrote: Fri Oct 28, 2022 12:00 pm https://pe-ltd.com/product/wideband/

for example the problem I'm starting to run into in my cars is too many BT devices in the same vehicles at the same time , right now with 123ign a BT amplifier and my earpods in my pockets lets says most of the time only 2 will work based on whatever priority IOS decides. I often have to disconect other stuff before my 123 connects
Apple say iPhone can support up to 7 simultaneous devices but practically I think its devices connected not working all at the same time

As mentioned, cool idea but you may find it doesn't play well with the 123 unless you're using 2 devices

Re: Air/Fuel Reader and O2 Sensor Advice
the way that it works is incredibly simple. I installed the power to the wireless module via ignition. it allows me to turn the car on and will start to warm up the sensor. it also is a set and forget. when you turn the car off you do not need to worry about it pulling power when you forget to turn it off. just like any other wireless gizmos you have to pair the module to your cell phone. very simple and straight forward. it just work as its intended! the logging is nice when you are doing "pulls" on the street. it allows you to not be distracted on the road. i will say get your idle so its withing a decent range before you install the sensor. our cars idle so rich that modern o2 sensors will foil really quickly. i will try and get some pics of how i installed mine. the exhaust shop installed the bung thats included and the wiring was done by the coil.

I think my first post included a link to the exact wideband. It's from performance electronics. https://pe-ltd.com/product/wideband/

18:57 of the video in Mochi's link above is the install of the wideband... That looks slick - (notwithstanding the bluetooth concerns) - for a troglodyte like me it will be the highest tech component in any of my cars... would be an amazing option for tuning in the driveway. Set the phone on the parcel shelf and watch realtime - easier than sticking your head in the window...
