SR311 69 2000 Seat Positions
Hi,
I’ve replaced both very rusty floors in my RHD 69 2000.
Unfortunately my old floors were too far gone to find the exact location of the driver and passenger seat mounting holes.
Would anyone know the location/measurements of where the holes go in the driver (RH) and passenger (LH) floors.
Thanks
Andy

Re: SR311 69 2000 Seat Positions
I’m away from my car this week so I can’t give you measurements, but I would suggest that you take advantage of this blank canvas and mount them where it’s comfortable for you. I lot of average to tall guys will just move them rearward as far as possible.

Re: SR311 69 2000 Seat Positions
Be careful when deciding where to mount the passenger seat, the parking brake linkage happened to be exactly where I drilled my holes in my 67.5. I suspect they are all the same.

Re: SR311 69 2000 Seat Positions
I hear the responses being "put them where you want them" but if I were he I would want to know, close as possible, some measurements in order to get them centered etc. Maybe someone with their interior out right now will be able to do so...andrew wrote: Tue Oct 18, 2022 5:07 am Hi,

Re: SR311 69 2000 Seat Positions
There’s not a lot of side to side wiggle room. The fore-aft placement is where the options reside. Place the seat tracks where they are comfortable, recognizing they will be an inch lower with rails, not studs, sitting on the floor pan, and mark the fore-aft location that works best, recognizing what is below the floor pan that may interfere.

Also, be sure to reinforce floor pan-through studs with 3" diameter washers above the fasteners to load-spread and deter pull-through in a high-G event.

Re: SR311 69 2000 Seat Positions
I don't have the measurements, but I do have this photo from when my interior was stripped, painted, and sprayed with sound deadener. You can see where the seat mounting holes are quite easily here. If you look at where they align with the floor ribs, this will give you a starting point for where the stock holes are. Note that these holes are the REAR set of the two sets of factory holes. Hope this helps.

I can get you measurements if you really want the stock locations but agree with the others that says put them where you are most comfortable.
