Recommendation widest tires with rolled fenders

Iâ€™m looking for the widest tires I can put under a 1969 2000 roadster with the fenders rolled. Iâ€™m running a Vq35 6speed manual with a ford 9inch. I was planning on 16 inch wheels but Iâ€™m wondering how wide I can go front and rear. Thx

Thx. I dug through the gallery. Has anyone put anything wider in the rear then 16x7? I would like to go big as possible. Any suggestions?

Vq swap is something Iâ€™m interested in, spent a while trying to find the hr ( dual intake ) version, settled for a vg in the mean time? You have a thread or pics of your ride? And my 2 cents on the tire width, I mean with enough money and supplies anything can fit, right?
