What's wrong with the rear leaf spring shackles?

"non-roadster person"?!!

It's not the shackles. Its the comp springs on the front that make it look hokey.

“Lumpy” and “Wonky”? I’m going to stop by Mecum Wednesday. Looking forward to perusing Lanni’s car.

It’s the nicest one you’ll ever see,you should feel privileged just to be near it.
I remember when no one wanted the 1500s......

Lol … Too funny!

By comparison, I would rate my ‘lil roadster at about a Hagerty 2.5(ish) and give it a retail value of $19K - $21K (USD) - Seems like a realistic valuation to me.

That being said, this 1500 looks like it’s worth every penny at three times that price … Ahhh to dream! Will be interesting to see what it goes for 🤔

Ted’s VTEC Roadster … Michael’s ‘Sting Grey’, and now this one. I know what my Datsun dream garage would look like …

I believe they are actually 66 doors and not just the replacement of the wing windows on a 65 door.

Now that looks like a nicely restored roadster - Some serious coin went into that.
Most of the build was on the Roadster FB page, beautiful car, very well done.
Sometimes I think I should sign-up for a FB or Twitter account … Then I remember why I don’t.

Yep, I have no use for it... have seen people suicidal over it. The power we give to others to control our feelings of self worth...

Looks like nearly 3" of rake front to back. Jacked up in the back. Comp front springs won't do this. Someone either re-arched the rear springs, changed to incorrect rear springs, or did something else funky/accidentally to raise the rear. No matter what springs are in the front, the rear needs to come down. Easy to fix though....Best wishes with the auction!
