Tie Rod Castle Nuts - Size/Specs ??

Anyone know the size/specs of the slotted Castle nuts (for cotter pins) on the tie rod ends?

Mine stripped and I’m looking for a replacement

Let me look, I am pretty sure I still have y old floppy ones (ball joints) stashed somewhere, I will send you the nuts if I can find them.

Thanks for the offer Fergus I can source new ones locally without a problem. I just needed the specs on the nuts to pick-up the correct ones.

Ok, after a bit of trial and error, I found the correct Tie-Rod Castle Nut size (this one from DORMAN Products).
File it in the miscellaneous ‘Good-To-Know’ bin for the next person that’s looking.
