The Datsun Snow Job

Post by Bwk2000 »

Came across some old ad memorabilia; I had the 4-door version. My memories of the overall ‘winter experience’ with this car differ quite a bit from the write-up I must say.

Then again, marketing thought highlighting “Factory anti-freeze” was a notable selling feature of a Datsun.

Different times …

I recall taking the roadster out at night on a freshly plowed Taconic Parkway, and it was a blast from verge to verge.

Very cool ad, thanks for posting that. I remember driving the roadster in the rain and had to be somewhat careful shifting into 2nd and 3rd gear, otherwise the rear would want to come right around. And that was with an LSD, although I was running a 462 at the time.
