I just figured out how to get rid of the stock hazard switch with a jumper plug and one toggle switch for the hazards.
Edit
Well maybe not. Hazards would only be rears. Keep looking.

Re: Turn Signal Gremlins
Can be done with a 3PST, 3 pole single throw switch. However, unless you can't get switches that work you don't need to do it.
It would take a jumper plug to eliminate the hazard switch, 3PST toggle switch and a wire adapter to go between the turn switch and the dash harness. you could put the toggle in place of the stock hazard switch I guess.

Re: Turn Signal Gremlins
So, the 3 pole switch would essentially turn on left and right turn signals on at the same time?

Re: Turn Signal Gremlins
Turn switch would work normally. 3 pole is just for hazard lights all around. If I had a working 69-70 turn switch I could try it out. Well, and the the 3 pole but I can simulate that.jrusso07 wrote: Mon May 30, 2022 6:41 am So, the 3 pole switch would essentially turn on left and right turn signals on at the same time?

Yep, that's what I meant (turn all the turn signals on at the same time) instead of the hazard switch and hazard flasher relay.

Re: Turn Signal Gremlins
The cars have two flasher cans One for turn and one for hazard. You would still use the flasher can and bypass the switch.

Re: Turn Signal Gremlins
Here's what I came up with. In the past I looked at this and just didn't see it. I don't have the parts to try it.

Re: Turn Signal Gremlins
Finally got back to looking at this issue. I pulled the bezel off of the turn signal switch and found a glob of grease and dirt stuck to the wiper contact. Cleaned that up and now all lights flash when they should and not when they shouldn't.
