Hello All,

I purchased my 1970 1600 from the PO of 41 years last week. It's a mostly unmolested survivor in drivable condition but needs a bit of TLC. Have been scouring the forums for a week now picking up what I can, and making a to-do list. Appreciate all of the information and the time/energy you folks spend helping each other. I look forward to being a part of this community.

Welcome! Yes, there is a lot of good information on this list. I live near Lockhart, Tx. so I’m not far away. As I recall there are one or two other roadster owners down there.

Glad you have a drivable car, I’m looking forward to getting my 67.5 stroker on the road sometime this summer. Engine compartment & engine are most of what’s remaining.

Peace,
Pat

Thanks for the warm welcome!!

Pat, Lockhart is one of our favorite Sunday drives (for a good BBQ lunch). Perhaps we'll cross paths - honk if you see us!

Welcome Chris, we love adding new people to the family! Ask away on any issues or concerns, and tell us of your adventures. My wife and I are headed to the mountains today as far as the road is open... first time this season!
