To offset or not to offset, that is the question.
Replacing my wheels on my 67 1600. I have two choices:
A. Standard Konig Rewind 15x7 4x114.4 (0 offset). Pretty common among Roadsters, always looks great.
B. MT42s 15x7 4x114.4 (+25 offset). These are unique, would give a very different look, risk is how will that look and is the offset too much?
So question is. Stick with the safe Rewinds? Or go with the +25 offset and possibly require some sheet metal work, or reduced turn radius? Do +25s fit without issue in a 67?

Re: To offset or not to offset, that is the question.
I'm not sure where you got your information but it is not accurate and both these wheels will not fit "easily" on a 67
Konig Rewind have been done often but they are far from an easy fit on later car and will not work on a 67 without quite a bit of rolling in the back and will stick out about 1.5" (40mm) in the front on a 67 , they would still poke about .75" (20mm) on 68-70
( You can run smaller than stock 195/50 tires to minimize rolling in the rear and if you give it camber up front they might work)
As a reference this is a 15x6.5 +22 on a 67 , as you can see they poke out about 1/2" , a 15x7 et0 would be 1 1/8" (28.4mm) further out

Even on a late car it would still be challenging , This is 15x6 ET3 on a 69

The MT42s could be made to work but will require spacers a so as o not hit suspension components and will still poke in the front
I would recommend you go through the wheel and tire thread to get a better idea of what fits

Pjackb, can I ask what tire that is on the 15x6.5? Is it a 195/50-R15? I've been all over that Wheel and Tire thread and it's really hard to tell what modifications were done to fit the wheel/tire combos. I've been looking for either of these wheels in a 15x6 but no one seems to have them.

Also keep in mind that any lowering will have an effect on which wheels will work, particularly in the front. That's why a wheel/tire combo on one person's car won't necessarily fit on another's.

The wheels you mentioned are not available in roadster friendly sizes unfortunately but it doesn't mean you can't "fit" them , just expect to have to modify things for it to work and run smaller tires

Rather than guessing on a wheel that fits (and getting a Chinese knock-off wheel), I would get a quality Panasport wheel-- Dean at Datsunparts.com stocks them in the correct size and offset and they will work and fit perfectly (and come with a spacer to get the center cap to fit properly):

This is a set with 195/55/15 Yokohama tires:

I bought these but cap does not fit ans they did not come with spacers. Do you know where i can get correct size spacers?

Do you know the offset of those 14x6 Panasports by chance?
Thanks,
Peter

My question was poorly worded, I was actually wondering about Dean's 14x6s...
But your answer does help... I don't want to hijack Jeuke's post, so I'll start another if needed.
Thanks and good luck Jeuke!
