I'm working on a 1967 1/2 Datsun 1600 (dual master cylinder). On the passenger side of the firewall is a brake line brass "T" fitting. I see pictures of a much more complicated fixture on the passenger side with 6 hydraulic ports and an electrical post. Which is correct? Did someone do a mod on this car? I have no previous experience with Roadsters.
Also, can someone point me to a schematic diagram of the brake system plumbing? I need to know which line goes where. I have some notes that reference the connections to the front and rear master cylinders but I don't know if they mean the physical front of the car and rear of the car or if they reference the cylinder marked "F" and "R" since they are opposite.
As always, thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

This should help: it's for the 1967.5-1970. You can use the toggle arrows below the diagram to switch to the 1965-1967 piping which features the brake light switch on the manifold.

I never knew about the arrows. Thanks DAC21

Michael, curious why the clutch line runs over the top of the brake master?

Here is how my lines ran – with the clutch line over the brake master...
So, I'm guessing that's how they were routed originally? At least the 67.5s?

Ahhh. I never noticed on my buddies early cars.

It's a progression photo...there's plenty of his photos, use search function and search project unicorn) . Great reference for a half year. The T has 1 line in and 2 out (simple splitter...one.on your rear carrier as well.
I need to make sure I get this right. Would someone please look at the line that feeds the top of the "T" block and tell me if it goes to the master cylinder that is closest to the rear of the car (the port marked "F") or to the master cylinder that is closest to the front of the car (the port marked "R")?
Thank you
The line to that splitter is for the front brakes. The large (rear) reservoir on the MC marked as "F" . I did my lines a few months ago (on my Nov 2021 page) and it is a weird setup as you run a line over to the splitter only to bring one back to the front drivers side (Spriso) has some great examples of lines that don't need to cross, but those are on his custom builds. Your splitter is the factory setup. Are you bending new lines? If you are making your own you can place them as you like. I used one old line to create the bends for the pocket in the middle of the firewall.
