Correct oil weight

I need a recommendation for the correct Oil weight for Colorado cold weather conditions. I original purchase my Roadster in So. California and always used 30w, what would be Best? My Roadster is not an everyday driver since I restored. Thanks!

You really can’t go wrong with 10W-30/40. Adding a Zinc or ZDDP additive each oil change will help reduce wear and quiet things down as well.

I have always used Valvoline oil in my cars and am now using the VR1 racing oil 10w-30. It is manufactured with a high zinc formula.

5w30 or 5w20 10w... is too thick in the low 20 degrees

Redroadster, you are absolutely correct, 10W... is probably too thick for a cold start with temps in the low 20's. I don't know of many people that drive their convertible car in low 20's or 30's temps, I sure don't. If bobs19692L drives it in low 20's temps he should probably go with a thinner oil.
