Bottle Jack or Scissor Jack

It's funny. I also have a Jeep TJ and the current rage is the "high lift" jack that you can bolt on your hood or anyplace where everybody can see you going to the mall. Talk about dangerous! Simple scissors jack and a block of wood and you can lift about anything. Bumper jacks and high lift jacks have to lift the full suspension travel first to get the tire 1/2" off the ground. But those huge shiny jacks on the hood look cool. LOL

Huh … Guess we don’t ‘accessorize’ as much up here. A bottle jack in my pickup is all I’ve ever needed - You know, to actually change a tire 😏

You should see the jack that came on a 83 Audi 5000 turbo diese. l aluminum and nylon ,steel screw and nut ....betit wieghed 2 lbs or less ...I may still have it
