Dean at Datsun Parts

Post by merto »

For over 25 years Dean has helped me in a pinch. Recently he got me a quality part when the cheap one I bought elsewhere failed completely. I have realized that it's better to support someone who has a long term true committment to selling and producing all the parts we NEED. It may take some gumption to be loyal, but we need Dean and all vendors committed to supporting us and our cars. I've had a roadster for 52 years and once Datsun/Nissan abandoned us we were stuck on the road. Dean has worked recently hiring more employees to serve us, and our needs. We should support him and Datsun Parts. My opinion.

I agree. We are so fortunate to have many great vendors who have found, saved, manufactured, modified/improved and created many great parts and shared their knowledge with the desire to help our cars stay on the road so they can keep smiles on our faces...THANK YOU! We also know that this is a business part time, full time, and way over time for some, and the competition can get heated at times. We hope and believe there's enough need to go around, and encourage everyone to spread the wealth to help those who help us.

Again, thank you to all our vendors. My car would not be what it is without you all.

+1
Earlier this month was my first time dealing with Dean. Hooked me up quickly with a gear reduction starter and a gasket I needed. There will be a second time … and so on … and so on … (my Karma with old cars just isn’t that great). Pretty certain the other vendors will benefit from my ‘luck’ as well.

Always nice to ‘know someone’ 😉

I learned long ago that buying parts for old or obscure cars was better handled by vendors who specialized in my specific car. I truly appreciate all of our valuable specialized vendors.

Old enough to know better, too old to remember why!
