Yes it does, it’s not visible from the engine compartment so everything will look stock.

I just tried to install mine and it does not fit at all. The brace is too wide to fit inside the two ribs on each side of the master cylinder.
What am I missing?
Can someone post a picture of an installed brace?

In the instructions that come with the brace is a set of photos and the modification that is needed on early 66 cars. The modification requires a simple cutting out of some material. When I build the next run the adjustment will be done.
