Repaired R16 Head install
I had a valve seat drop at start up on the last day of my last race weekend. Lucky for me it didn't do any damage to the piston and lower end of the motor. I took it to a shop and they had it a month before telling me it was unsavable. I took it to another shop and they said they repair damage like mine all the time. A month later and I picked up the head this past Friday. I installed it this weekend and the car is ready for the next race in a couple weeks. Here is a video showing the damage, repair and the installation. I even put in a little video of it firing up first try after it was installed.
