I got into roadsters 7+ years ago but at the time had Spitfire budget to go with my Datsun taste. I pretty much tore into my Spit as soon as I got it, and followed up and other classic cars and motorcycles. I daily drive everything I've owned so I try to keep that mindset with upgrades and reliability and whatnot.
This one came along as a stalled resto with Les @ Classic Datsun, only a few minutes down the street from me. It had been in storage for a long time. Previous owner was a lovely lady who couldn't finish it or take it home anymore so we worked out a deal for what I thought was a 95% done roadster. Lots of adventures including a full engine pull to tighten up a transmission cover that was put on loose. At times seemed like she didn't want to get back on the road but today she's officially back!
I still have a lot of final gremlins to track down and a lot of help post to makes but it's a big milestone for me.
